Weight Loss Myth #2 - Low Fat Diets

Low fat diets are a similar beast to low calorie diets. Experts say that by cutting out high fat foods, you'll lose weight fast. Again, this isn't entirely true. Your body converts all types of food to fat for storage, so whether you're eating a cream cake or a piece of lettuce, they are both available to your body to be stored as fat.
